The Bombings in Isreal

Just the other day, some zealot Arab blew himself to bits - tiny little bits - and killed and injured scores of others (mostly Jews) in a Sbarro pizzaria in Jerusalem. Does anyone have any idea why? Yes, of course they do. It was because Isreal blew up a building "suspected of housing" hard-line Arab resistors to its Domination of them. And their public stance to do more of the same to other "suspected" zealots does little to keep the tensions at bay.

Hours after the bombing, Israel launched several nighttime raids that focused primarily on driving the Palestinian leadership out of disputed east Jerusalem. Palestinians officials said Israeli jets destroyed a police building in the West Bank and their tanks leveled another police headquarters.

"We will take every necessary action to keep the PLO out of Jerusalem," said Uzi Landau, Israeli Public Security Minister. "Jerusalem is an Israeli city."

Isreal captured east Jerusalem from Arab inhabitants during the 1967 Mideast War. They now feel they have some kind of "divine right" to it all.

Hamas' military wing said the bombing was the work of Izzedine al-Masri, 23. It said the attack was revenge for an Israeli helicopter raid last week that killed eight people, including two Hamas leaders.

Islamic Jihad and Hamas, militant Palestinian groups that have been carrying out bomb attacks against Israel for years, both claimed responsibility for the bombing.

More than 550 people on the Palestinian side and more than 140 on the Israeli side have been killed since hostilities broke out in September.

Let's see... 550/140 = just shy of 4 times the number of Palestinians killed as Isrealis. Who's the aggressor - the real terrorist - in all this?
