The bush-effect on oil prices and, hence, the world economies while president:

As you can see in the above graph, things were rockin' along steady (but the economy was growing) until bush took office. Then prices of oil (and the economy) dropped. Then 9/11 happened and things really dropped for a short time. Meanwhile we invade Afghanistan, which seems to be ok with most people (after all, they deserved it?) and things weren't too bad, so oil prices picked back up to normal-ish prices, and the economy stablized.

THEN-- bush invades Iraq, and all hell breaks loose! Nothing has been the same since. Economies have tanked, people are fighting people they never had to worry about before, stupidity has overcome the world. ALL EXCEPT for the Oil Companies! (Well, the stupidity is still there.) They are growing richer and richer, as are their cohorts. Bush is now happy. Fiddling while the world... well, you know the allusion.

bush - the leader in "No Child" politics

Well, the bumbler is now getting nasty with the kids -- he just vetoed the bill to extend medical insurance coverage to the poorest of them. His excuses don't add up to anything intelligent (as usual) and he did it behind closed doors, with no one seeing his snickering little face. What a loser.

The real argument about this is where the funding is coming from -- another tax on cigs?? geez!! why not up the gasoline tax, see where the real support is on this? Smokers are taking a big hit lately!
