Ok, as wars go, that was a nice one.

I know, the Pres says it ain't over, it will take years and years to root out all the bad guys, and we should be patient and forever patriotic and speak no evil about him or his staff or his or their motives and agendas. We'll see how that flies.

But for now, the big shoot-em-ups are over. And it didn't go half bad, eh? We had lots of locals come to our side, seemingly grateful we got the big push against the Taliban going, and it seemed to flow over Afghanistan in a wave of change. Now, as has been said, the hard stuff begins. I hope it goes as well, but should be better than before, at any rate. And if we can get O'bin Laden and Omar, all the better.

Some really good fall-out from this is the potential changes in the rights and plights of Women in this New Old World. We have been hearing how Women will have at least a couple of seats in the NewGov of Afghanistan, which is wonderful, and I saw yesterday that even in Saudi, Women were being issued ID Cards with their unvieled pics on them. From what I understand, everyone (except women) in Saudi has ID Cards, but Women were only listed on Family Cards, without a pic or anything, kinda like a possession of the Family. So, now even Saudi Women are moving a step closer to Individualism.

But back to AfghaniLand... What I want to know is, where are all the Afghan Hounds? They are so pretty here, but I have yet to see even one in the clips from there!
