We are a li'l newszine from Texas. And we are holdovers, I suppose, from the Old Liberal caste. In other words, I'm an old hippie, and my wife and partner, while quite a bit younger, is nonetheless of the same liberal ways and beliefs.

Some of our concerns are social problems; liars and cheaters and castigators, especially when they are in the Government or Big Bizness and have some influence over things that affect us; the Law, especially when the badge-bearers tend to think of themselves as "holier than thou"; and anything else we deem as putting a potent portion of unfair weight on the public-at-large.

So we will write about it, and although we may not always see both sides of the situation, we will try to at least see one side clear enough to raise questions about the other.

Ok, enough of that. We also like to write about and bring attention to some of the kinkier and sensual and just plain sexy things out there. We like kinky, and are always on the lookout for more experiences.

Something about me:

• First, I like the different side of life. I am pretty liberal, I am not too keen on a totally commercial-type Government, nor am I too fond of big business. That is not to say I don't have my hands in a few commercial ventures - after all, we all have to do something to survive - but I don't think that necessarily means being in love with it all. I might be (and have been) considered a bit anarchistic, although I know that leads to a dangerous sort of ground itself.
• Second thing that comes to mind (although it is many times the first) is that I am quite liberal in my sexual thinking. I am straight, but I am not homophobic. My wife is very bi- and I love that idea. We play with BDSM, but do not live it. We are members of a nudist club near here, and love that, at least during the warmer months. In short, I/we are adventurous within this frame of reference.
• The third thing I feel makes me who I am is that I, like most of you, I'm sure, like both the scientific and artistic sides of life. So much so that I often do not know which one to turn to for my outlet-of-the-moment. I like physics, geology (I have a geophysics degree), biology (my second degree), and I try my hand at sketching, painting, music, photography, and writing (my wife and I have a writing company). So I try to stay in the thick of all those things, as time allows.
